GERAI KHA KAMPONG BENGKURUNG

Assalamualaikum.. This time, I wanna share and review about this local stall in Kampong Bengkurung. The stall called 'GERAI KHA' and located No 3, Simpang 66-44, Kampong Bengkurong. Inda jauh dari Masjid Bengkurung. You can also contact them through WhatsApp/SMS or call for direction, information and early booking at +673-8323111 or +673-7333647.

Daily business, ada jual 'Nasi Katok' with several of 'sambal', you can choose their 'sambal' that provided based on the level of spicy. Tahan padas boleh cuba yang super pedas. Four type of 'sambal'; Sambal Biasa, Sambal Pedas, Sambal Belacan Pedas & Sambal Super Pedas.

Every Friday & Sunday, they will be selling other food along with 'Nasi Katok' such as 'Pulut Panggang Udang', 'Cakoi' & 'Kolo mee'.

'Pulut Panggang Udang' - $0.50 per piece. It is sticky rice with seasoning prawns and wrap with 'ngirik' leaves. Then they will grill it on the top of the hot pan with little of oil. The oil is needed, to avoid it burn the leaves. We did tasted it and YES it is so delicious!! And it is in big size, intinya dari ujung ke ujung. You wont regret it, trust me. Isi padat, udang inda karit. Pokoknya NYAMAN & LAMAK rasanya!!

'Cakoi' - there are two types of 'cakoi' that available there. 'Cakoi Kawin' and 'Cakoi Tuna'. 'Cakoi Kawin' will having 'Pandan Coconut Jam' in it or Bruneian called it 'Kaya'. While 'Cakoi Tuna' will having Tuna with mayo inside it. My most favorite is 'Cakoi Tuna'. Inda menyasal! nyaman berabis.

QUINT CAFE KIARONG

Assalamualaikum.. First of all, thank you to Pelangi FM for the voucher worth $20 dine in at Quint Cafe. Well actually I won it for answering their quiz. Plus, this voucher only valid one month from the day I got the voucher from Pelangi FM HQ in Bandar.

Quint Cafe located opposite with Hokko Kiarong branch. The exact location is No 7A, Block A, Bangunan Haji Lajim, Kampong Kiarong. The pictures below is view from outside cafe.

Inside the cafe full of superheros decoration such as Marvels, and it is so cool. Love the environment. Clean and the color of the wall really welcoming us.

We've been there for dinner, well early dinner. Masa kami makan sana inda ada orang ramai. Only two of us saja. So what do we get from our $20 voucher.

A jug of Pisang bandung. You can choose Pisang Bandung or Rose Bandung.

There is no buffet here as they're serving $8 per set (excluded the drink & rice). But what we're having above worth $20. But my husband also ordered fried rice as side order costs $4.00 but really in huge portion as we didn't manage to finish all of it. Unfortunately, nada sambal or cacah for the grill but it is okay. Just the staff not that really friendly.

They are also serve other menu as well with affordable price.

My rating about this Quint cafe 6/10. Suasana cafe was good, quite and not too crowded as we went there before Maghrib and finished our meal before Isya'.

HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI 2019

Assalamualaikum... Yeah, I know it is SUPERLATE POST.. Need to push myself to update my blog.

Alhamdulillah, this year sambutan hari raya giliran family Gadong, my husband's side. And next year will be my family turn, Temburong Family. Nothing much I can describe here, but literally we've having a wonderful EID this year..

After one whole week of raya, I am gaining 5-7 kgs!! HAHAHAH blame it on the EID BUFFET. Every house that we've been visited, semua sediakan BUFFET. But it's ok, will be back on track (joging & hiking etc).

MY 32ND BIRTHDAY DINNER

SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI 1440H/2019M.

ALHAMDULILLAH SYUKUR YA ALLAH, for giving me a chance to celebrate my 32nd this year. Semoga sentiasa sihat tubuh badan dan sentiasa dalam lindungan Allah SWT.

We're having our dinner at Excapade Sushi that located at Regent Square Kiulap. Inviting few friends to join us because I got 20% discount for one whole week (3days before and after my birth date). Thanks to my husband for brought me here. Love you heheeh

MILLION thanks to my BFF Vyna Herry and her husband Azim for making this happen. Inda terpikir sudah kan dapat kek birthday lagi sebab siuk sudah mau makan sushi beramai. Thank you jua to Baby Auliya for the cake. Aunty Mel Mel loves you syg!!!

Thank you also to our bff Izzul. And happy belated birthday to you jua. Hehe since your birthday 8 days earlier than mine.

RUMAH TERBALIK (UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE) KUCHING

Assalamualaikum.. Hai again.. This time I wanna share about Upside Down House in Kuching.

Actually we went there last year in August 2018. I just got a chance to gather all the picture. HDD corrupted and lost 70% of our old pictures. 

UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE in Kuching located behind the Tune Hotel. Ground Floor, No.281-1-1, Lot 281, Section 48, KTLD, Block H, Taman Sri Sarawak Jalan Tun Abdul Rahman, Off, Jalan Borneo, 93100 Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. And you can check their facebook through HERE . There are entry fee, but I forgot how much the fee. RM20? But I can remember it is below RM30.

The place is not too big BUT banyak tempat boleh ambil picture. And million thanks to their staff(s) for helping us and be our photographer. Please bring your DSLR inside because you will not regret the outcome. The staff also very kind and helpful. Thank you for the lovely picture of us. 

Just before leaving this place, we went to their souvenir's shop. You will pass by here on your way out. So I bought postcard and posted it to my house in Brunei Darussalam. That's for today. Looking forward to go to this place again.

MESILOU CAT VILLAGE KUNDASANG SABAH

Assalamualaikum hai semua.. Sorry lama baru kan update pasal MESILOU CAT VILLAGE. Since banyak picture hilang dari HP, so upload mana yang ada dari DSLR saja..

MESILOU CAT VILLAGE, not too far from Kundasang Town, dalam 20-30minutes. Better pakai kereta 4x4. Sebab nanti ada jalan batu-batu tu naik bukit. But kami last time pakai Honda City saja. Boleh sampai jua tapi pelahan saja lah. Batu-batu naik ke bukit besar-besar tu.

So entrance fee just RM4 plus satu orang. Lupa sa accurate fee nya. Tapi below RM5 macamtu.

Ni lah laluan untuk kucing mau masuk rumah atau lepak di taman diorang

Ni lah gangster si Boss nama nya. 

First kami masuk kandang yang outdoor. Boleh dikatakan taman diorang untuk santai-santai lepak. Cuaca sajuk berabis. Semua kucing-kucing manja, friendly and so cute. Ada satu kucing yang pakai baju BOSS, aaah mungkin atu bigboss diorang. Kira mafia! HAAHA but si Boss ni bagus juga, ya bawa kami round-round kandang. Sini walaupun kucing biasa saja, tapi semua gemuk-gemuk. Ada jua kucing tebal bulu, tapi inda lah banyak. A bit smelly jua ni tempat sebab their pop still dalam litter belum kana bersihkan. Kami sampai sana awal pagi! hahaha semangat mau lawat kucing..

Next kami jalan masuk ke rumah kucing. Sini ada kucing yang kena asingkan sebab ada yang sakit. So kucing-kucing, bebas keluar masuk rumah diorang. Bagus owner ni tempat, ada buat laluan kucing boleh keluar masuk rumah. Kecuali isolation room saja inda dapat masuk sukahati. Macam ward hospital heheheh
