Kundasang Trip 2018 - a bit and pieces

Assalamualaikum semua.. As I promised, this time I wanna share our trip to Kundasang Sabah. Kebanyakan orang panggil tempat ani 'Mini New Zealand'. Don't ask me about New Zealand, never been there yet. In Shaa Allah kalau ada rezeki ke New Zealand, I will share it to you guys..

This is a super late post, haha why? As our trip was on 30/9/18 - 02/10/18. It was 3D 2N. Last minute planning always happend, right?!

So will share with you guys a bit and pieces about our journey to Kundasang. Sorry for not describing in details about the place that we have visited, but In Shaa Allah in other post will share everything. 

**DAY 1**
Journey to Kundasang took almost two hours from Kota Kinabalu. Our journey this time more to enjoy the environment. Slow and steady with 80-100km/hr. Banyak naik naik bukit, angin start sajuk dah. Pertengahan perjalanan, we did switched off the aircond and open the window. I am so excited! Sajuk, udara fresh and I cant wait to explore Kundasang.

There will be alot of stall that selling food, macam daging salai (not recommended for muslim, its not halal).. Our friend from KK already warned us, don't buy salai food from the along the way to Kundasang stall because it's not for muslim.

When we reached Kundasang Town, we're having super late lunch at KFC. Love the KFC's workers. Penuh senyuman and very friendly.

After finished our lunch, we went to Desa Diary Farm. Now we get it, why people keep telling the story about the beautiful of Kundasang. Masha Allah, Sungguh indah ciptaan mu, Ya Allah.. To enter this place, you need to pay for the entrance fee RM4/person.

Di Desa Dairy Farm, ada cafe jual fresh milk, pizza and ice cream. But didn't manage to eat the ice cream and pizza. Just bought few pack of fresh milk (full cream and chocolate flavour).

Before heading to our hotel that I already booked, we did 'tapau' ayam salai. Ada pondok orang islam jual ayam salai, tongkeng salai not far away from KFC of Kundasang town. And not to forget to buy fresh fruits from the stall there. Too cheap and very fresh!

Checked in to OPPA 28 hotel. This hotel made of cargo containers and it is very unique. Very friendly staffs and really helpful too. Clean room, clean bathroom, free cold / hot water from dispenser outside our room.. Our 1st night the temperature has dropped to 15'c due to heavy rain until dawn.

I really enjoyed the cold weather but not my husband. Inda tahan sajuk ani hahaha sampai mandi pagi memang banyak drama.. Water heater also provided but air nya terlampau sajuk sampai heater pun inda dapat panaskan air. Imagine you're having your morning shower using water from the fridge. HAHAHAHAHAHHAA but still, I really enjoyed the cold.


**DAY 2**
Having our breakfast which provided by the OPPA 28 Hotel. Hot tea & hot coffee with sandwich and sausages. Here's I attached few pictures of it, unfortunately I've lost the picture of the hotel (tsk..tsk..)

Our 1st destination of the day is RANAU. Mau ke Poring Hot Spring Ranau. Took 45 minutes from Kundasang. In Ranau, cuaca macam panas sikit. Inda lah sajuk macam Kundasang.. This place need to buy entrance fee ticket for foreigner RM15 (adult), RM10 (child). For Malaysian quiet cheap RM3 (adult) and  RM1 (child). This ticket also can use to enter Kinabalu Park in Kundasang for same day purchase of the ticket. Can check other's fee HERE . I am gonna describe about this place in my other post, In Shaa Allah

NEXT, our 2nd destination is Fish SPA Tagal Luanti Ranau. But unfortunately, the river was flooding. The owner said nothing that they can do but to close the place, sebab ikan-ikan semua sasat tu inda tau pigi mana kalau air banjir begini' ,, Boleh sasat jua ni ikan uncle. Paling bagi tekajut, ya cakap kedayan sama kami.."DAIE MANA LUAH KAMU KIAN WANG DANG? KK BIKEWEEK KAH?" hahha speechless ku pasal ya cakap Brunei atu. For more information, boleh click HERE ..

Our 3rd destination is BUNNIES SECRET GARDEN RANAU. Also need to buy entrance fee ticket, which I forgot how much tapi murah saja tu. If I'm not mistaken, below RM5/person. 4th destination is SABAH TEA , which also located in Ranau. The entrance only 3-5minutes away from Tagal Luanti Fish SPA. Jalan untuk naik ke atas bukit tu memakan masa dalam 10-15 minutes, sebab jalan batu-batu. Sambil menikmati pemandangan hijau.

We did bought few packet of Sabah Tea. There are many flavors too. Flavors that we bought was Pandan Tea, Lemongrass Tea, Cinnamon Tea and Ginger Tea. NYAMAN BERABIS! You should try it. Ada cafe jua disana, but we need to rush back to Kundasang because we want to visit Kinabalu Park.

Before heading back to Kundasang, kami sempat singgah di Pos Office Ranau untuk hantar poskad ke rumah sendiri HAHAHAH. I love to send postcard dari negeri mana-mana saja yang dilawat.

So our final destination of the day is KINABALU PARK. Since we already bought ticket when visiting Poring Hot Spring Ranau, so there is no need to buy another ticket for Kinabalu Park. Can use the ticket at this both places. Just show them the ticket. Must remember that the ticket valid only for one day.

After left Kinabalu Park, we were heading to J Residence Nabalu for our stay, which only took 10-15 minutes from Kinabalu Park. My husband really loves this place. Nice view, clean room, easy check in and check out. Banyak drama jua ni, sebab air terlampau melampau tahap sajuk. Water heater pun surrender tu kan manaskan air hahaha .. And harga nya murah jua. I booked from agoda.com for SGD21 per night ONLY!!

**DAY 3**

After having our light breakfast in our room and checking out from the hotel, we went to MESILOU CAT VILLAGE. No worries, will update in the other post about Mesilou Cat Village.

Then before noon, we're heading back to Brunei Darussalam. I really do love this place, In Shaa Allah will have another vacation at this place again, really looking forward to go to Kundasang again. 3 days and 2 nights in Kundasang is not enough. Maybe next time will extend to 4 or 5 days. Until next time Kundasang.
